Over 100 artists make work inspired by film

8 March – 5 April 2020 - show closed early but continues online*

*We are sorry to say that due to the COVID-19 situation we are closed as of Friday 20 March. Work is still however available to view on this site - the price list is downloadable here - we are happy to take enquiries about sales via email

Picture Palace is our farewell show at 110a Lauriston Road and features over 100 artists all of whom have shown at Transition or featured in our magazines at some point in our 17 plus year history.

This Last Picture Show will feature small works on paper inspired by films, stars and cinema and includes references as diverse as Psycho, Imitation of Life, The Last Days of Disco, The Cabinet of Dr Caligari, Under the Skin, James Dean, Julianne Moore and Ginger Rogers.

All of the work will be for sale with prices to suit all pockets. Money from sales will be split between gallery and artist with the gallery portion ensuring that we can continue to curate and publish in the future.
