Garageland is a new stylish arts and culture magazine based in the East End of London and published three times a year by Transition Editions. Conceived,
written and illustrated by artists, each issue of Garageland has a distinct theme. Issue one examines Machismo, issue 2 looks at Baroque and issue 3 will consider Nature.
The magazine features essays, fiction, gallery profiles
and previews, artist features, film club, interviews and comment.
Garageland's editor is Cathy Lomax and design and production
are by Paul Murphy and Yolanda Zappaterra. The magazine has an editorial
board which includes David Bradshaw the Creative Director of GQ Style
and Russell Herron the manager of the ICA bookshop. Contributors include Stella Vine, Paul Gorman, Charlie Porter, Zoe Mendelson, Jamie Shovlin, Claire Hooper, Rosemary Shirley and Jacob Cartwright Garageland is available to buy at all
