in collaboration with Bob 'The Brush' Gibbons (Sign-writer from Canvey Island)
Harrison's interests are in forgotten texts and the subjective nature of the urban experience. For O Dreamland she has made a sign (see above) and a flag to fly from Sea Beach House as well as a fold-out publication recording experiences of the recent earthquake in Folkestone (see below). The publication is available free upon receipt of a stamped addressed envelope to Transition, Unit 25a Regent Studios, 8 Andrews Road, London E8 4QN
Lucy Harrison studied at the Royal college of Art and Kent Institute of Art and Design, Canterbury. She was recently involved in 'Canvey Guides', part of 'Art U Need; An Outdoor Revolution', a series of commissions led by Bob & Roberta Smith. Other exhibitions include 'Objects in Waiting' The End Gallery Sheffield, 'Lucy Harrison: Work 1999-2006' Quay Arts Isle of Wight, 'Rag and Bone', 3 Colts Gallery London.
