Georgia Hayes lives and works in East Sussex and is represented by Paul Stolper Gallery, London. From 1977-82 she was a student of the revered painter Roy Oxlade.

Hayes' solo exhibitions include Paul Stolper Gallery, London, 2016; Sardac Gallery, France, 2014; Transition Gallery, London, 2013; National Gallery of Costa Rica, 2006; Fred Spratt Gallery, USA and Southpark Galleries, London, 2003.

Recent group exhibitions include, Passage, St Leonards on Sea, 2026; Toptrumps, London & Ramsgate, 2026; Nature, Talin, Estoria, 2025; I Choose This, Newlyn Art Gallery, Cornwall, 2023.

Her work has been selected for numerous prizes and exhibitions including, John Moores Painting Prize, 2000, 2018, 2021, 2025; Open Mostyn 21, The Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions – with shortlisted for Charles Wollaston Prize, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2026; Turner Contemporary Open, Margate, 2009; Arts Council Collection Touring Exhibition, 2015-17.
