Katherine Allen is an artist and printmaker based in Sussex. Her work explores women’s relationships and the roles they hold, sometimes touching on the experience of motherhood. Primarily a figurative artist, her work reflects personal and collective narratives, inviting viewers to engage with themes of identity, intimacy and the complexities of womanhood. 

Printmaking, particularly monotype printmaking is central to Allen's work. With its unique blend of spontaneity and control, each piece is a dialogue between creativity and the materials.
