Sarah Doyle's artwork concentrates on popular culture , in particular pop music and its associated images. She is fascinated by the emulation involved in the search for an identity of one's own and the inherent security of finding an idol to latch onto. She thus explores issues dealing with personal security and tends to work with toys in reference to the transitional security blanket objects of young children and often uses teenage and childlike drawing tools. |
